Agreeing to use America PAC to elect District Attorneys (DAs) nationwide, Elon Musk retweeted writer Gail Alfa on Twitter “X” on Sunday, Nov. 11. “Yes!” to their post saying America PAC is the Anti-Soros PAC. Alfa, whose bio says they support Musk and Tesla, said the PAC will likely work to elect DAs across the country to “keep cities safe.”
Musk has already used America PAC to help President-elect Donald Trump win. Electing DAs across the country will also support Trump’s Project 2025 ambitions.
Among Trump’s announced plans are mass deportation, arresting the “enemy from within,” creating tent cities, and removing homeless people from urban city dwellings. Private prison stocks have jumped since Trump announced Tom Homan as his “border Czar.”
Trump’s plans would need coordinated efforts at a local level, and having tough-on-crime district attorneys (DAs) would undoubtedly help.
Fox News recently reported that Soros’s DAs suffered 12 significant losses, including the passing of Prop 36. The Heritage Foundation, which is responsible for writing and planning Project 2025, has been fighting against George Soros for more than a decade against what they call a “left-wing billionaire.”
It is difficult to find articles on Soros that are not right-wing propaganda. One in 2023 from the Washington Post explains his motives. The article was written to debunk the narrative that Soros hand-picks DAs and instructs them in any sort of way as Musk is claiming.
Among other things, Soros astutely identified a massive arbitrage opportunity in district attorney elections, where a relatively small amount of money has outsized influence. Soros’s instructions to his pet prosecutors were (essentially) to minimize prosecuting even violent criminals.

Soros is a Hungarian-American Holocaust survivor and billionaire who primarily funds his philanthropic and political activities through his Democracy PAC. He has been a controversial figure for conservatives since he spent significant money ($27 million) to oppose President George W. Bush’s reelection in 2004.
District attorneys are not limited to enforcing strict punitive punishments. As in the case of recently recalled Alameda County DA Pamela Price, they can also pursue corruption in companies and fine them for environmental violations. They can also hold police officers accountable. All of the police unions in Alameda County supported recalling Price, who faced a recall as soon as she was elected DA and took office in early 2023.
